Cheri Gouvan, Secretary

Mrs. Gouvan is the school/church office.  She has been a part of the ECS staff for 29 years.

Mrs. Gouvan and her husband Dennis have two son's Jeremy and Joe and a daughter-in-law Rachael and 6 grandchildren: Collin, Porter, Brynnlie, Isabella, J.P. and Jasmine. Her husband Dennis works at Ford Meter Box.  Jeremy works for Superior Enterprise, Ft. Wayne.  Joe works for North Central Respiratory and Rachael works for Indiana Wesleyan University.

Mrs Gouvan's hobbies include Sudoku puzzles, reading and watching her son's & grandchildren's ballgames and spending quality time with her family.

An active member at Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church, she works in the K.I.C.K. program and the nursery.

Her favorite part of working at E.C.S. is seeing the students grow up to become Christ-like adults. 

Debbie Bowman, Principal

Mrs. Bowman is the Principal at Emmanuel Christian School.  She holds an Associates Degree from the Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville.  She has served ECS for 26 years.

Mrs. Bowman's family includes, husband Mark, son Jonathon and daughter in law Rachelle, and daughter Kristen and son-in-law Steve.  Jonathon and Rachelle have two children, Tori and Lucas.

Her hobbies include sewing and photography.  As an active member of Emmanuel Free Will Baptist church she participates in the nursery and children's church.

Mrs. Bowman's favorite parts of ECS include: the Christian environment, leading students to Christ and showing individual care for each student.
